DejaNetworks

DejaNetworks uses smartphones to connect and control electric vehicle charging stations and other critical infrastructure elements with no need for a cellular or Wi-Fi network connection. EV drivers receive a secure access “key” and charger instructions via the DEJA app which are stored in their smartphone. When they arrive at the charger, the key and instructions are transmitted automatically using Bluetooth and the charging session is activated. When the driver returns, the phone pairs again and collects the charging session data, which is sent to DejaNetworks when the phone is back in cellular range. DEJA Plug and GoYour phone pairs automatically with the charger, all you have to do is plug in. No key fobs to waive, QR codes to scan, apps to launch, credit card numbers to enter, or 800#s to call. Hop out, plug in, and you’re on your way!Enhanced ReliabilityMost EV charger problems are due to cellular or Wi-Fi network disruptions. Our chargers almost always work because we’re not connected to a network.Secure CommunicationsCellular and Wi-Fi are “always on” long range networks targeted by hackers and cyber criminals. Our Bluetooth connection only lasts a fraction of a second and the phone has to be within 30’ (10m) of the charger.
